Overnight Oats

Overnight oats are SO easy a monkey could do it! (No offense, monkeys.) And you can be as simple or creative as you want!

How to:

Get your self a mason jar (or Tupperware or anything with a secure lid) and fill it with 1/2 cup old fashioned oatmeal. Add your dry fixins - I added 1 teaspoon pumpkin seeds, 1 tablespoon raisins, dash of cinnamon and half a scoop of vanilla Shakeology. Stir up dry ingredients and then add 1/2 cup almond milk (or milk of choice). Mix thoroughly, lid up and pop in the fridge overnight! It's that simple. You don't need to do anything to it in the morning other than take the lid off and eat!

Like I said, the possibilities are endless when it comes to ingredients: fresh fruit, nuts, ground flaxseed, dried fruit, protein powder, spices, etc.

These are great to make when you find yourself crunched for time in the morning. Just grab one on the way out the door and eat at work. They keep for a couple days. And this recipe fits right in with the 21-Day Fix Meal Plan.
